Alison Marshall at Great Dixter, England (2005)
|
Alison's interest in writing began when she was studying philosophy at university. She developed an awareness of what it means to make assumptions when developing an argument, and enjoyed the discipline of writing so that one's assumptions are made clear. Her skills were further strengthened when she took up law. Not only did this give her a grounding in the legal system, it also introduced her to another way of thinking and writing. She graduated with an arts degree and a law degree in 1990.
Alison is married to Steve and has an adult daughter. She has been a Baha'i since 1980. She undertakes regular private study in the Baha'i Faith, Islam, Christianity, Arabic and Sufism. She has several websites, which are all found at whoisbahaullah.com.
